D.A.R.E.

Drug Abuse Resistance Education


D.A.R.E. (Drug Abuse Resistance Education)
is a national curriculum taught by Sheriff's deputies in K-5th grades of our public and private schools.  Topics include peer pressure, self-esteem, and alternatives to drug use.  There is an emphasis on helping children recognize and resist the pressures that influence them to experiment with drugs and/or gangs.
