Welcome to Hernando County Crime Stoppers, Inc. When citizens, community members, the media and law enforcement join forces, Hernando County remains a safe place to live and work. The Hernando County Crime Stoppers, Inc. program needs your support in keeping our communities safe. You can get involved by helping spread the word about the new Hernando County Crime Stoppers program. We encourage everyone to learn more about Crime Stoppers and to call 1 866-990-TIPS (8477) to anonymously report any information relating to criminal activity occurring within Hernando County. Please call 911 if your call is an emergency, is urgent, or for crimes in progress. If the tip results in the apprehension of a fugitive, the resolution of an open criminal case, the prevention of a criminal act, the tipster may receive a CASH reward of up to $1000.00!
	Call 1 866-990-TIPS (8477) if you have knowledge: * regarding the location of a fugitive or wanted person information that might help solve a criminal case such as a burglary, robbery, assault/battery, theft or criminal mischief information that may prevent any of the crimes listed above *information where drugs, stolen property or evidence from a crime can be located
Please do not use the Hernando County Crime Stopper phone number or web site to report traffic violators such as speeders, dirt bikers, or driving without a license. Instead call our Sheriff’s Office non emergency number at 754-6850. Remember our Crime Stopper TIPS website is for criminal reporting and due to it being a one way tip service, we cannot respond back to inquiries.
