eLert Notification Service

Welcome to the Hernando County Sheriff's Office eLert Notification Service.  This e-mail system was designed to offer citizens the opportunity to subscribe to an e-mail list where they will be notified of certain events that may have an impact on the residents of Hernando County.

By subscribing to the eLert system you will have the option of receiving e-mails regarding News Releases, Alert Bulletins, the Sheriff's Citizen Academy, and information on Sexual Offenders.  You may subscribe to any or all of the alerts and un-subscribe at any time. Subscriptions are good for 1 year and may be extended by 1 year when your expiration date is within 60 days.

We hope this system will benefit to the community and look forward to assisting our citizens with this feature.

MARCH 27, 2008:  Subscribers to the  Sexual Offender Notification portion of our eLert service receive notification any time a sex offender moves anywhere within Hernando County.  In cooperation with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, we are offering a new service that will allow users to receive notification anytime a sexual offender moves within a 1 mile radius of any address within the state of Florida.   The main benefit to subscribing to this system is that you can enter as many addresses as you would like in the system and e-mails will be sent to you when a sex offender moves near that address.  Click the Sex Offender Email Notification System icon below to sign up today!
