Sexual Offender Arrested for Failure to Report Internet Identifiers

On 08-13-2026, Benjamin Roman DOB/12-09-1964, was arrested on charges of Failure to Report Internet Identifier 3 counts.

Roman was adjudicated guilty in 2011 in New York, New York for 1st Degree Sexual Abuse- Contact By Forcible Compulsion. This conviction designated Roman as a Sexual Offender in the state of Florida with registration requirements.

On 08-05-2026, Detective Marcacci assisted Probation and Parole with scene security during a joint operation compliance check of Roman at his residence on Carrin Road in Spring Hill.

During the check, Officer P. Garrett examined Roman’s phone and observed that Roman had multiple unreported internet identifier accounts actively being used.

A review of Roman’s FDLE Sexual Offender Predator System (SOPS) profile yielded negative results for these internet identifiers and social media accounts.

With Roman failing to report his internet identifiers, he was placed under arrest for the following violations:

  • Failure to Report Internet Identifier - 3 counts

Roman, who is currently incarcerated, is being held without bond.
