Consolidated Dispatch: One Center, One Mission

For HCSO, consolidated dispatch means bringing public safety communications and resource coordination together through one centralized Communications Center. Rather than operating in separate silos, our team coordinates law enforcement, fire rescue, and after-hours utility responses from one location. This allows us to share information, coordinate resources, reduce duplication, and provide a consistent connection to public safety 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
From October 1, 2025, through August 31, 2026, the Consolidated Communications Center handled:
Calls & Calls for Service
- 85,258 - 9-1-1 calls received
- 121,309 -Administrative calls received
- 42,403 - Outgoing calls
- 315,151 - HCSO calls for service
- 44,454 - HCFR calls for service
- 1,879 - Utilities after-hours calls for service
This represents more than 361,000 calls for service coordinated through one consolidated public safety communications operation, in addition to more than 248,000 incoming 9-1-1 and administrative calls and 42,403 outgoing calls.
Consolidated dispatch allows HCSO to maximize the people, technology, and resources available to us while keeping the focus where it belongs: getting the right help to the right place at the right time.
